Key Event Description
Evidence For Perturbation by Stressor:
Stressors of the MIE (phorbol esters/DAG) bind to the regulatory domain, thereby causing alterations to the enzyme configuration leading to the exposure of the enzymes catalytic site. This allows for PKC to phosphorylate its targets. This increases the enzymes activity levels (Igumenova, 2015).
